Mission

The mission of Bocas Educational Service Organization is to provide educational grants  and services  to the youth of Bocas del Toro.

The Organization will achieve this Mission by:
  • Granting scholarships and financial aid for further education
  • Ensuring a safe and healthy school environment for all students
  • Encouraging volunteer programs and assistance
  • Providing equal educational opportunities throughout the province  

Since 2001, Bocas Educational Service Organization has:

  • Granted High School and University Scholarships
  • Funded construction of classrooms, kitchen/dining facilities and ancillary structures  
  • Facilitated construction of water collection systems  
  • Provided desks, blackboards, books, teaching aids, medical kits and other school supplies
  • Supported continuation of internet service and computer maintenance for the provincial High School 
  • Assisted in transportation to intramural academic events
  • Supplied school uniforms when needed
  • Promoted music and athletic programs in the primary schools   

Bocas Educational Service Organization encourages individuals and businesses to donate time, money and materials for the continued achievement of our Mission Statement.
